Community Growth Initiative

Supporting accessible, local-led community ideas with care, guidance, training, and fair support when possible

This initiative is still growing

We are actively designing this initiative and improving it step by step. We welcome feedback so we can build it in a way that is more helpful, more accessible, and more respectful for real community needs.

If something feels unclear, you can tell us. Your voice helps shape the future of this work.

The Community Growth Initiative exists to support disabled and diverse communities through small, meaningful, and accessible local activities.

We believe real change happens when communities are listened to, respected, and supported with the right tools—not rushed, controlled, or exploited.

What this initiative is

  • Support for local, community-led ideas
  • Training to help events and activities run smoothly
  • Fair financial support for time, labor, and preparation
  • Respect for accessibility, communication, and emotional safety

What this is not

  • Not therapy, medical care, or emergency services
  • Not unpaid volunteer labor
  • Not charity tourism or content extraction
  • Not top-down control of communities

How it works

  1. A local individual or group shares an idea for a small community activity (for example: a day gathering, creative workshop, accessible event, or support space).
  2. We review the idea together, focusing on accessibility, safety, and feasibility.
  3. We provide guidance, planning support, and training as needed.
  4. We offer financial support to fairly compensate the work involved.
  5. The activity is carried out locally, led by the community itself.

Our role is mentorship and coordination.

We share information, help connect resources, and guide the process. We do not provide deep counseling, diagnosis, or personal treatment.

Partnerships & shared growth

We welcome partnerships with individuals, creatives, educators, and organizations who value accessibility, appreciation, and diverse perspectives.

This initiative grows through exchange—ideas, skills, cultures, and lived experience— always centered on dignity and mutual respect.

Interested in participating?

If you have an idea, represent a community, or want to explore collaboration, you’re welcome to begin in the way that feels most comfortable.

Share an Idea or Collaboration

Submitting the form does not mean a project is approved or ready. It simply helps us listen, learn, and understand ideas more deeply.

Or contact us directly

This initiative is still developing and growing through feedback. We’ll reach out by email only when it feels relevant and aligned.

Community growth is not about saving others.
It’s about listening, supporting, and growing together.
